Hello,
I love Converse!! Hello to all you converse wearers!!!

I am back. I will come back to my shadows photo's later but I have an exciting adventure. In conjuction with Rack Room Shoes I will be hosting a converse photo shoot. People will come in their converse and I will photograph them. The public will then be allowed to vote on the best looking pair of converse. Rem. the prettiest may not win. The winner will recieve a free pair of converse plus a free full photo session. A $5-$10 donation is suggested. Money will go towards Keller Community store house:they have a shoe program. More details to come soon. Here are some raw images I took at the store on Sat which will eventually go into a poster.

Shadows

Welcome to my blog. I have done film for years and have just recently over the last couple of months gone digital. I love my Nikkon D700 but have only touched the surface on it's potential.

The topic is shadows. Right now I love what shadows do for pictures. It creates a neat image that tells a story. That is one reason why I enjoy outdoor photography so much. Nature is the best lighting. And it is cheap too.

Here are some of my experiements with shadows. The photo to the right is myself taking a photograph of my oldest son, Elijah. It was taken at 7pm at nite just as the sun was setting. I love the orange cast the sun created for me. I actually did this photo because so many websites have "Meet the photographer". I really didn't want them to meet me, don't think that is necessary so this was a way for people to meet me. LOL. Where did I take this photo you may ask. Well, it will be the future home of a garbage dumpster near retail shops going up near our home "SoHi".

Enjoy the photo's. If comments are made please only comment on composition or color and not the person in the pic. Don't want to hurt anyones feelings. Enjoy the shadows.
